Vascular Surgery Fellowship
Educational Curriculum
There is a structured educational curriculum that complements the fellows research
and clinical activities. Each Wednesday there is a Vascular Grand Rounds which follows a preset curriculum. This conference is followed by an alternative morbidity and mortality conference, journal club, and division meeting. In addition, residents regularly attend a weekly case-conference on Fridays with the rotating general surgery residents and medical students. The residents also attend a variety of meetings throughout the year including the national SVS meeting, the regional NESVS meeting, the annual Vascular Fellows Conference at the APDVS, the annual Veith Symposium, the Wesley Moore Course, the monthly New England Vascular Fellows' Lecture Series, and any additional conferences at which they are presenting research papers. Submission of abstracts for these conferences is greatly supported and expected.
